What a weekend it has been for football! Some team from Manchester won the Premier League, another team from Berkshire won the FA Vase - but most important of all, our Football Festival was back!!!

We saw plenty of fantastic effort, hard work, and enjoyment on and off the pitch.

Thank you to every single player, coach and volunteer who made today possible. We had teams from across our region attending and we were delighted to host you all.

Thank you to all the parents and guardians - who maintained respect and echoed the main focus of our football festival, enjoyment.

A special mention to our referees, who managed the whole festival expertly.

It was awesome to have Kennet Radio visit us too - and thank you for your entertainment throughout the day. The music and announcements were brilliant.

A big thank you must also go to our hosts, Thatcham Town FC. Many of the festival visitors complimented the facilities and pitches. We can't wait to visit again! Your support before, during and after the event was greatly appreciated by all!

Finally, truly a massive thank you to our volunteer team. You kept the day running as smoothly as possible - and were the heartbeat of the whole festival
