Harriers were slow to get going and were soon under pressure from a dominant Newbury side who took advantage of some poor defending to take an early lead.
It was soon 0-2 after an uncharacteristic mistake from Jack W in goal gifted them a tap in and it was all uphill from there.
The midfield combinations of Max G, Jack T, Jack A, William and David were being dominated and provided little protection to the defence and the waves of attacks kept coming until Harriers conceded another two in quick succession to make it 0-4 at the break.
The 2nd half started better for Harriers and we looked brighter but were unable to break down a well organised defence and whilst the possession was better the chances were limited.
Newbury played some good football in the middle throughout the game and dominated in nearly every area of the pitch and ultimately we conceded another to make it 0-5.
This was by far Harriers most un-energetic performance of the season so far and with tough Div 1 fixtures ahead there are things to work on in all areas of the pitch.
