Eton College provided the scenic back drop for the opening EBFA league match and away win.

Eton College provided the scenic back drop for the opening EBFA league match and away win.

Kian captained Storm.

GOAL..!! 4mins 0-1 Storm Tom P scored his first on debut with a decisive angled shot following build up play from Anthony and Kian's cross.

Anthony and Kian worked hard backwards and forwards to help the team, both showing improved left foot technique.

Sam positioned himself well to jump (including the watching Parents...) and stretch upwards to catch a rising shot which bounced high from the Windsor #63.

Callum and Jonah (on debut calm and assured) complimented each other in defence, with Callum having to show a quick change of pace to avoid a goal threat by Windsor striker.

GOAL..!! 21mins 0-2 Storm Craig (on debut) scored goal of the game with a stinging volley hitting high into the goal net (Parents enjoyed that one..!)

Kegs and Matee showed determination to dominate the central midfield areas, winning many tackles and headers to enable Storm to build attacks. Matee having to pick himself off the floor a couple of times.... to his surprise...! Kegs was Kegs ..!!

GOAL..!! 27mins 0-3 Storm Tom P showing massive bravery in a 50-50 sliding tackle with Windsor's' keeper, Tom P was quickest to react, getting back onto his feet to blast the ball into goal and also thru the goal net which was not secured to the goal post.

Jacob R combined his defensive tackling with timely interceptions to thwart Windsor's left side attacks, with Alfie coming on to provide seamless cover both in defence and midfield.

GOAL..!! 40mins 0-4 Storm Theo encouraged at half time to make the journey from LB to take the corners, Theo reacted quickest to a short clearance from his own corner to drive the ball at speed goal bound taking a deflection off a Windsor defender on the way to the roof of the net.

Tom W (on debut) gave the team a few glimpses of his speed and ball trickery but also his defensive tenacity in the tackle teaming up on the left hand side.

Windsor finished the game well scoring a deserved goal for their hard team work and efforts.

Thank-you to Rich and Paul for helping us as Linesman.

Kegs and Tom P share the Respect Man of the Match award.
