Registration for next season

There is still an uncertainty as to when grassroots football matches will be able to commence. However, leagues are continuing with their registration process which means we need to register and continue with our player registration process.

Having reviewed our current financial position, the good news is that for the third year in a row we are able to maintain the existing membership fees even though costs continue to increase.

Due to the current uncertainty for this coming season we will be changing the payment schedule as follows:

  • Initial £30 payment to be taken on 1st July 2020 (or immediately on registration if after 1st July)
  • Remaining balance (£45 for U11 and under, £75 for U12-U17) to be taken on 1st October 2020.

We have kept the initial payment as small as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot push it back further as between July and October we typically incur around 35% of the seasons expenses. This is spent purchasing kit, equipment, registration fees, insurance and mandatory coach qualifications (such as first aid and safeguarding).

The registration forms should be available from next weekend and you will be prompted by your team managers to complete these.

Additional player registration requirement for 2020/2021

Each year we register all players with the FA's Whole Game system, this enables them to be registered with the leagues and eligible to play in matches. Each of our players has a unique FA number (FAN). Those who have purchased England tickets in the past may be familiar with these.

This year every player FAN must be linked to a registered parent. As part of the registration process we will also be asking you to make sure this has been completed. Details will be published in due course to guide you through the process.

This is a bit of a pain but an important step. Without this step being completed children will not be allowed to take part in matches.
