Conclusion of season & postponement of Harriers Festival

Last week the FA announced the conclusion of the Grassroots season across the country (article here).

We have been waiting to see how each league will wrap up their seasons but so far have only heard from the Berkshire Youth Development League.

In most cases it appears that leagues will void the seasons, however as we hear any more details your manager will pass this information on.

Unfortunately, the guidance also extends to any summer tournaments and the Berks and Bucks FA have confirmed they will not sanction any tournament.

Given the current situation and continued advice we whole-heartedly agree with the decision and will be postponing our festival. However, we will endeavour to see if it can be put on later in the summer.

At this time we have made no decision over the Harriers presentation day. We will keep you updated as and when we have more news on this.

The most import thing at this time is for us all to adhere to government guidelines and help the fight to slow and stop the spread of Covid-19.

We would just like to take this opportunity to thank all our managers, coaches, welfare officer and other volunteers in their support throughout the season.

Keep an eye out for updates from your teams as planning starts in earnest for next season when we look forward to being back on the football pitch.
