I have been involved with Thatcham Town Harriers for over 10 years, firstly as a coach and then under many umbrellas (no pun intended) ending as Chairman.

I am immensely proud of the players, coaches and parents of the club and all they do on and off the pitch within the community.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the secretaries, treasurers, club welfare officers and team managers past and present because without them giving up their time for free you would not have a club.

I wish everyone good luck for the future.

The Club would like to thank Nigel for all his outstanding contributions, from coaching teams, closer ties with Thatcham Town FC, our highly enjoyable presentation, fundraising and the Harriers Festival. Nigel leaves a big hole to fill and will be sorely missed.

We will be holding a meeting next to discuss moving forward for next season. This will include setting the date for our AGM which we will bring forward and schedule as soon as possible in order to elect a new chairperson.
