Harriers saved their worst performance of the season for the team rooted to the bottom of the table and ended up paying the price. With only 1 point in the league for CSA and Harriers being top, a good performance would have seen them going into the last couple of fixtures with the outcome being in their own hands.
Harriers started well and were much the better team for long periods of the first half but sloppy finishing, passing and wasteful corners meant it was level at the break.
After the break Harriers did up their efforts but with their first real attack of the game and helped by some defensive errors CSA took a less than deserved lead.
Harriers had to dig deep to maintain the unbeaten run and with the pressure building on the home team, the resulting corner created a chance for Sam to poke in the equaliser (his first of the season and for Harriers) and make it a nervy last 5 mins for CSA to hold on.
The breakthrough never came and at the end the points were shared.
Harriers man of the match was Sam Evans
